We charge for depth and polish, never for your form doing well.
Both plans take unlimited forms and responses, and Premium is one
price for the whole organization.
Are responses really unlimited on the free plan?
Yes. Both plans include unlimited forms and responses, subject
only to fair use to prevent abuse. We charge for depth and
polish, not for your form doing well.
Is Premium priced per person?
No. $19 a month covers the whole
organization, however many people are in it. Free covers up to
3 people.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Nothing is deleted and nobody is removed. You keep the period
you've paid for, your forms keep collecting responses, and the
Premium behaviour simply stops applying — until you upgrade
again, which switches it all back on with nothing to republish.
Can I build Premium features on the free plan?
You can build all of them. A free organization writes, saves and
publishes exactly like a paid one; the difference shows when the
form is served. So you can set a form up completely and decide
about paying afterwards.
Can I undo changes to a form?
Yes. Every publish and every editing session is kept as a
version, on every plan. Premium lets you open any of them and
restore it in one click; discarding unpublished changes, and
taking back what you just replaced, is free.
Do respondents need an account?
Never. Anyone with the link can fill in a form — and, if it's
password protected, the password.
Does it work with Zapier or Make?
Yes, through webhooks, on every plan. Paste a Zapier or Make
webhook address into the form's webhooks and every completed
response arrives there as JSON. For a spreadsheet you don't
need either: Google Sheets is built in.
Can I import my forms from Typeform?
Not yet. Start from one of the templates and adjust it, or, on
Premium, describe the form and let AI draft it for you to edit.
Can I take payments in a form?
Not yet. An ending can redirect people to your own checkout page
once they finish, carrying their answers in the link if you
need them.
Can I use my own domain?
Not yet. Forms live at hootform.com, but you can embed one on
your own site, inline or as a popup, so people never leave your
domain.
Can I pay for a year up front?
No, Premium is billed monthly only, so you're never locked in.
Cancel whenever you like and keep it until the end of the month
you've paid for.
Can a form show every question on one page?
Yes, on every plan. Set its layout to all questions on one page
and it reads like a paper form, with one Submit button. Logic
still shows and hides questions as people answer, and every
answer is saved as it's given.
How do I cancel?
From the billing page in your organization's settings, which
opens the payment portal where your invoices and cards live.
Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you've paid
for.
